Although these iconic characters have frequently joined forces in comic books and animated series, notably in "Super Friends," this fan film marks the sole instance where they have shared the screen together in live action. The title pays homage to a renowned comic series that showcased Batman and Superman teaming up in every issue. Collora's intention was never to produce the full-length film independently; instead, this project was designed as a showcase of his directorial prowess. Despite the widespread acclaim and popularity of this endeavor, an official Batman/Superman movie has yet to materialize. The trailer incorporates familiar themes from the comics, including encounters between Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent, as well as rivalries over Lois Lane's affections. Additionally, the trailer features the villains Lex Luthor and Two-Face. The trailer utilized Los Angeles, California, to depict the city of Metropolis, with a nod to the 1952 TV series "Adventures of Superman" by filming the Los Angeles City Hall as the Daily Planet building.
