Jimbo Clementine (S)

"Roman Kaelin and I did this short during our first year at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg in 2008. It was also the first time we got in contact with character animation and the stop motion technique. The quality isnt the greatest, but for the first time doing this we were pretty satisfied with the result. It took four months from scratch to final image. The plant was built with a wire skeleton and silicon skin where as Jimbo had a metaljoint skeleton. Both heads were modeled with clay and then we produced negative forms so we can create a silicon version of it. It was a lot of fun to experiment with all these different materials."
