Assistant professor at the University of Kansas Kevin Willmott directs the mockumentary CSA: Confederate States of America. The film is a political satire examining what the country would be like if the South had won the Civil War. Using a style based on Ken Burns' popular Civil War series on PBS, the faux documentary special is broadcast on "Confederate Television." Willmott rewrites history as if the South had met with victory at Gettysburg and institutionalized slavery had lived on to contemporary times.
