Tells the tale of an August day in the Lombardy countrysides. A family, idle and preoccupied, sits around a table after a summer lunch. Each then proceeds with their afternoon alone. They read, run to the river, play the piano, think: a reflection on the state of solitude in which the modern man finds himself.
