Around the World with Timon & Pumbaa (1996) follows a series of events where Pumbaa suffers from amnesia after being hit by lightning. Timon, his loyal friend, attempts to restore Pumbaa's memory by recalling all the adventures they have shared. Once Pumbaa regains his memory, the tables turn when Timon is struck by lightning and loses his own memories. In a humorous twist, Pumbaa breaks the fourth wall, urging the audience to rewind the tape to the very beginning to assist Timon in remembering their journey.
