Lucia, the protagonist, is a teenager who, after a dramatic episode in which her brother dies violently, suffers physical alterations that have no explanation. Lucia believes that she is responsible for his death and begins to fear herself. She does not know who she is or what she is. A "doctor", Jiménez, contacts her mother, Sara, and tells her that he knows her great secret, kept by her for 15 years: Lucia's father is not her husband. Lucia is kidnapped and taken to a center where there are teenagers like her: half vampire, half human. It is at the center where she will begin to know what she is and will meet love in Raul, another half-breed. Lucia and Raul decide to fight together so that her human side will always be stronger, but it will not be an easy fight. Her real father, Ismael, is a powerful vampire who wants his daughter Lucia to be by his side for eternity and that can only be possible if she allows herself to be carried away by her vampiric nature.
