The Bicycle (2006) follows the journey of a unique bicycle as it passes through the lives of three distinct individuals in a rapidly changing city. The story begins with twelve-year-old Ramón, who receives the bicycle from Mario, an elderly amateur cyclist. The bicycle, crafted from various models in Mario's workshop, becomes Ramón's means of earning money by running errands for a steroid dealer. Fate intervenes, and the bicycle finds its way to Julia, a 20-year-old woman who has moved to the city to pursue her studies in Chinese. Julia uses the bicycle for her job as a courier, navigating the city's harsh traffic and challenging work conditions. Eventually, the bicycle ends up with Aurora, an elderly woman from the old sailors’ quarters. Aurora, facing the imminent demolition of her home, decides to embark on a journey to find the bicycle's original owner, rekindling her love for cycling along the way.
