The Mud Woman (2015) follows the story of Maria, who resides near the Chile-Argentina border with her daughter Teresa. A decade has passed since Maria last took on seasonal work. This year, she resolves to return to this job to accumulate sufficient funds to move in with her brother in the capital. Unbeknownst to her, this decision will force her to confront her unresolved past. Upon her return, Maria discovers that the foreman, Raul, is none other than the father of her daughter, the very reason she had vowed never to come back.
