The Dragon Braves (TV Miniseries)

Yoshio (Shota Yasuda) lives in a mining town. One day, he sees on TV that a dragon appeared in the sky over Tokyo. Yoshio later finds an ancient document about the mysteries of dragons at a secondhand bookstore. From the book, Yoshio learns that people in the mining town are descendants of "warriors of light" who knocked down the dragon in the past. For world peace and the mining town's development, Yoshio and several other young folks from the mining town, decide to kill the dragon and head to Tokyo.
