A film about the after effects of National Socialism and Shoah in the lives of female descendants of Nazi-perpetrators and -bystanders. How do women in Austria and Germany deal with the role of their families in National Socialism? How do they handle the knowledge about the involvement of these in the extinction of the Jews? How do they relate – as feminists and as women – to their family histories? Which ‘historical’ traces and imprints can they see in themselves – in their relationships, in love and in sexuality, in their political activisms?
