While many episodes center around villains, others tackle real-world issues, either directly or through allegory. For instance, "Stuck On Sharks" addresses the issue of shark fin soup, while "Build It Beaver" serves as a metaphor for deforestation. The series also aims to challenge common misconceptions about animals, portraying creatures like bats and crocodiles in a more positive light. Throughout their escapades, the Wild Kratts team—comprising the Kratt brothers, Aviva, Koki, and Jimmy—educate viewers about the animals' lives and habitats while navigating humorous and often perilous situations. The villains, who often fail due to their lack of understanding about the animals, rarely learn from their mistakes.
