Juan Sagayo returns to his hometown after spending 18 years in prison for killing a man, Trueba, in cold blood. When Trueba's son, Julian, hears Sagayo has returned to town he demands that Sagayo face him in a duel to avenge his father's death. However Julian's brother, Pedro begins to doubt Sagayo is an honorless killer after meeting Sagayo and spending time with him.
