Katie Fforde - Glücksboten (TV) (2010) follows the story of Lucas Gillespie, a renowned chef who left his wife, Perdita Dylan, and their life in the Hudson Valley years ago. Perdita remained behind to manage their organic farm and eventually divorced Lucas. Meanwhile, Lucas joined the prestigious van Horn family's hotel chain in New York and became engaged to heiress Claire. The couple returns to the Hudson Valley to reopen the area's once-famous Grantly country club, complete with a star restaurant. Architect Roger Owen is tasked with designing the golf course, which requires acquiring a neighboring estate. Roger's charm captivates both Perdita and her loyal former nanny, Kitty Anson, who owns the bio-farm and is eager to see the young couple together, even before Roger reveals his familial connection. Tragically, Kitty passes away, and Lucas's grand opening sparks a whirlwind of romantic entanglements.
