Un rey en La Habana (2005) follows the story of a wealthy elderly Spanish gentleman, Mr. Arturo, who travels to Havana with the intention of marrying Yoli. Tragically, he passes away unexpectedly in his sleep. Yoli's family, fearing the loss of their anticipated inheritance, persuades her former boyfriend, Papito, to journey to Spain and secure the money. Papito must navigate a web of deception to outsmart everyone and achieve his goal.
