Four policewomen to demonstrate to their peers and their male superiors who are qualified to perform the job, were to face a dangerous Yakuza. This film is the first published work of the prolific and controversial director Takashi Miike, but not the first film he has directed, as that honor falls to "Red Hunter: Prelude to Murder", which was released directly to video in December 1991 while "Eyecatch Junction" was previously published in October of the same year, also directly to video. After his debut, he has directed around over eighty films, body cinema, video and television. In 2001 and 2002 alone, Miike was credited for directing fifteen productions.
