Last Dreams
'Last Dreams' confronts us with what is probably the most engrained taboo in our society: dying. The film closely follows 3 women during their last month of life, from the moment they arrive at their hospice to the moment they are gone. Through them we explore what it really means to reach the end of life in our culture; we are with them as they deal with the most significant issues remaining in their life, as well as when they find words to say "Sorry" or "I love you". This exploration is conducted with intimacy and delicacy, without interviews or interference, and is entirely devoid of voice-over and sensationalism. In intimately accompanying the women on their journey, we become immersed in the honest and compelling narratives of reconciliation and love.
