A young man drowns his sorrows in strong drink when his girl jilts him. His drunkenness gets him thrown into jail, where he falls in love with the jailer's daughter. On his release, he tries everything to get back into the jail, but when he is mistaken for an anarchist bomber, he faces not only jail, but execution.
