"This early animation of mine is based on Desi, the wonderful cat I lived with in 1998. Fantastic score by Nik Phelps and the Sprocket Ensemble. You can see the light leak from the Krasnogorsk camera I used, which made me cry when I got the 16mm film back, but Nik's score made it not matter. 1998 was the year I started animating, and I was very experimental. These old films only remain on VHS tape, hence the poor quality."
