Sadourni's Butterflies (2012) follows the journey of Sadourní, a dwarf who has completed half of his 20-year prison sentence. He enrolls in a transitional program that permits him to leave the prison daily to work, aiming to gradually reintegrate into society. To maintain this privilege, he must secure employment swiftly. However, job listings demand a good appearance, which Sadourní lacks. Faced with a tough decision, he must choose between escaping prison and living as a fugitive or undergoing a physical transformation to meet societal expectations. Both paths involve a form of removal: one is a literal breakout, the other a metaphorical evasion.
