When the business man Viren arrives to his birth land with his goverrness, falls in love with the beautiful and younger Pallavi, but when her father dies, he find that dhe is in love wiht another man and comes back hearthborken to London. Some years after the sad death of Pallavi and her husband, their daughter Pooja comes to London to visit Viren and falls in love with lim, meanwhile he is between his old love for Pallavi and his affection for Pooja. Very awarded in the 1991 filmfare awards.
