She is happy because she was finally given the deeds to her house, which she and her best friend Jennifer have managed to obtain with a lot of hard work and effort. However, something terrible is about to happen: a disaster strikes her house and Ana loses everything she has. Alongside her is Fernando Lascurain, a prestigious businessman who sadly remembers the first anniversary of his wife's death. Fernando is the father of seven children: Fanny, Nando, Alicia, Sebastián, Luz, and twins Alex and Guillermo. Ana and her friend, desperate for the situation they are living, arrive at the Chicago bar, a nightclub run by an authoritarian man named Doroteo. Ana asks him for financial help, and he grants it in exchange for her signing a contract that obliges her to dance at night in the bar. She wants to get another job, but her lack of experience and her truncated education complicate the process. However, because of an entanglement in an employment agency, Ana ends up going to the Lascurain mansion without knowing that there she will find everything she has dreamed of.
