Hard Choices (1985) follows the journey of a young teenager who accompanies his older brother and his friends on what seems like an ordinary outing. However, the excursion takes a dark turn when the group decides to commit a robbery, resulting in the tragic murder of a store clerk. Despite the teenager's insistence on his innocence, he is arrested and ultimately convicted of the crime, leading to his imprisonment. A dedicated female social worker, assigned to his case, not only believes in his innocence but also develops feelings for him. Driven by her conviction, she becomes determined to either help him clear his name or assist him in escaping the unjust sentence.
