Mujeres de la Mar (S)

On the coast of Cantabria, the fisherman's wife has not only waited for her men in the port but has also played a very active role becoming the main pillar of the families in the absence of the father, assisting the maintenance of the boats (as you water, for example), dealing with the sale of the genre in markets and, even, walking miles and kilometers on foot to sell through the villages. This documentary tells the stories of many of these women with their own voice, since they are the ones who, with their testimonies, explain how they relate to the sea and how they are and have been their lives, which coincide with those of Many other Cantabrian women throughout history.
