A Portuguese bourgeois dares to look at a Spanish lady's delicate ankles at the beach, but his wife will have nothing of it. He forbids his daughter to see a Spanish boyfriend, but she'll have nothing of it. As the Portuguese saying goes, from Spain there comes no good winds, nor good marriages.
