Two friends (Aikawa bald as a cue ball and Asano with a spectacular afro hairdo) who work at a fire extinguisher factory take on a horde of living dead from the Black Fuji, a colossal mountain of toxic waste products and residue. While fleeing and after rescuing a young woman using ju-jitsu, they wind up getting separated and the younger of the two seeks shelter with the girl in a nearby fortified community. Sakichi Sato, the screenwriter of Ichi the killer and actor in Kill Bill Vol. 1, debuts as a director with this humorous adaptation of the Hanakuma manga that hilariously parodies this genre with an eruption of witty, gruesome idea (info from cinemasitges.com).
