002 Operation Moon (1965) follows a thrilling narrative where a Soviet spacecraft goes missing with two cosmonauts aboard. In a desperate move, the KGB seizes two small-time criminals, Franco and Ciccio, and sends them into space to pose as the missing cosmonauts upon their return. However, the real cosmonauts, Paradowski and Borovin, unexpectedly return, leading to a series of hilarious and confusing mix-ups.
