Blanka (2015) follows the journey of Blanka (Cydel Gabutero), a resourceful young woman navigating the bustling streets of Manila through petty thefts and clever schemes. Her ultimate aspiration is to accumulate enough funds to "purchase" a mother's love. Her life takes an unforeseen turn when she crosses paths with Peter (Peter Millari), a gifted blind musician who earns his living through gambling. Together, they form an unlikely alliance to tackle the daily challenges of their harsh environment.
