Rana believes that the earth will be destroyed by a meteorite strike. She tells Mei, her newly adopted sister, who just so happens to be the same age and enjoys the same hobbies as her. One day, their adoptive father gives them some bad news. The family business is going under and subsequently, he can only afford to keep one of them. This sets off a chain of questionable mishaps.
