Whoops Apocalypse (1988) is a British comedy that humorously explores the onset of World War III. The story begins with a small British colony being invaded by its neighboring Communist state. The newly elected female U.S. President, Barbara Adams, attempts to mediate the crisis, but the British Prime Minister dispatches a task force to reclaim the islands. In retaliation, the Communist leader hires the world's top terrorist to abduct the British princess, demanding her release in exchange for the British withdrawal. Complicating matters further, Russia is poised to support the Communist country, escalating tensions and potentially igniting a global conflict.
