Iraq in the 1970s. Saddam Hussein signs the Algerian agreement with Shah of Iran and military pressure on the Kurds is increasing. Saddam targets the autonomous Kurdish region where Jagar, a young Kurdish student is taking part in protests. When his friends are arrested, tortured and killed, he decides to join the Kurdish pesmargha forces opposed to the Iraqi military.
