Rudolph Manders (Siegfried Breuer) was convicted for murder. Out of jealousy he has killed his wife. Now he tries to make a new start. When he meets Julia (Gusti Huber ), he marries her, but keeps his past in secret. Things get complicated when another man (knowing about Manders' past) falls in love with Julia.
