The Diary of Tortov Roddle (S) (2003) follows the journey of Tortov Roddle, a wanderer hailing from the mystical land of Tortalia. Accompanied by his unusually large pig companion, Tortov embarks on a series of tranquil adventures, each more enchanting than the last. His travels take him to extraordinary places, such as islands borne by frogs, lands where fish inhabit coffee cups, and a realm where a cinematic spectacle unfolds on the back of a colossal bear. The narrative is devoid of dialogue, relying instead on excerpts from Tortov's diary to convey the essence of his experiences. Originally created as web content by the director and sole animator, the series comprises nine episodes. The initial six episodes form the core of the 16-minute film, while the remaining three serve as DVD extras, all of which are included in this collection. The episodes are titled: 1. The City of Light, 2. Midnight Cafe, 3. The Little Town's Movie Gathering, 4. Moonlight Travellers, 5. The Melancholy Rain, 6. The Flower and the Lady, 7. The Red Berry, 8. The Apple Incident, and 9. Fantasy.
