Jeon Chang-nim is rejected by her lover, Byeong-guk, who marries another woman for her money. She decides to forget her troubles and goes to the U.S. to study. Several months later, Byeong-guk and his wife also go to the U.S. They run into Chang-nim only to discover that she is pregnant with Byeong-guk's child.
