The short lived love affair between a young woman and an older married man in the 1960’s. Sonia and Tonio live in two houses facing each other in a quiet neighborhood in the outskirts of Thessaloniki. Tonio is a piano professor who leaves every morning for the Conservatory while Sonia who watches him from her window is a former student in History of Arts. She’s lived in Florence and Paris and has taken in all the romanticism of the Interwar years she has found in books, paintings and music of the era. She has chosen to live a secluded life and devoted herself in some sort of introspection, away from the crowds but always in a sensationalistic frame of mind.
