Pikachu's Rescue Adventure (1999) begins with a peaceful scene where many small Pokémon are resting. Togepi, however, abruptly awakens and, upon spotting a flock of flying Pokémon, becomes separated from the group. Pikachu, along with Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Venonat, Marill, and Psyduck, embark on a mission to locate Togepi. During their journey, they encounter Elekid, who guides them to a cluster of Exeggcute. One of these Exeggcute is missing an egg and mistakenly identifies Togepi as its lost piece. The group then sets out to find the missing egg, facing a formidable storm that threatens to sweep Togepi and the Exeggcute away.
