In 1923 the robbery of the Banco de España was committed in Gijón. The loot exceeded half a million pesetas, becoming the most important robbery ever carried out in Spain, as well as the trigger for many historical events, such as the coup d'état declared after the robbery. Its authors, the Los Solidarios band, led by Buenaventura Durruti. This is the story of the Bank robbery of Spain.
