Pretty Ladies (1925) follows the story of Maggie, a renowned comedienne performing with the Follies, who experiences an unexpected tumble from the stage into the orchestra pit, where she lands on the drum of musician Al Cassidy. Their chance encounter sparks a romantic connection, leading to marriage. Al's career as a songwriter takes off, while Maggie focuses on raising their children. However, when Al is commissioned to write a major number for the stunning Selma Larson, another Follies star, their relationship faces new challenges and complications.
