The Academy of Muses

Linguist Pinto from Naples gives a course in 'being a muse' at the University of Barcelona. At home, Pinto's wife is not entirely convinced by his project - "regenerating the world through poetry". Pseudo-docu in Guerin's style about the limitations of what art may be. When he returns from teaching class, a professor of philology is interrogated by his wife, who distrusts his pedagogical approach, and his Academy of the Muses which, inspired by classical references, is intended to regenerate the world through poetry. This controversial project sets off a series of situations dominated by language and desire.
