A Costume for Nicholas (2020) follows the journey of Nicolás, a spirited 10-year-old boy with Down syndrome. Each year, his mother would craft a unique disguise for him, transforming him into a monkey, a daring pirate, or a dragon giant. Tragically, his mother passes away, and Nicolás moves in with his caring grandparents, Mia and Tomás, and his cousin David, who is plagued by nightmares. Nicolás possesses a cherished old trunk filled with magical costumes. With these enchanting outfits, he embarks on a thrilling adventure to liberate his cousin from his nightmares and, in the process, restore peace to an entire kingdom in turmoil.
