Fürst Woronzeff
Baron Franz von Naydek is confused again and again with the prince Woronzeff, since both are deceptively similar each other. A day comes for Woronzeff this similarity very convenient. Since he was not up to seriously ill, to make the legacy hunting plots of his relatives no longer possible, Woronzeff asks his friend Naydek to take over for one while the prince role. Naydek agrees, everything seems to run smoothly. Woronzeffs ex-wife Diane, however, sees through the game, but is silent because she loves Naydek. He again falls in love with Nadja, the daughter Woronzeffs, which was considered for a long time as missing and emerges now again. The relatives of the prince are afraid for their inheritance, therefore they refuse recognizing Nadja. In the meantime Woronzeff died. Now Naydek is compelling to further-pass on the role on indefinite time. When it recognizes however that Nadja loves not him, but his brother Otto, he seizes the resolution to away-happen with DIANE. But how he can do that without destroying the masquerade and the have-greedy relatives opportunity to be assigned over Woronzeffs inheritance?
